Beer filtering

    I have filtered once. It was a time issue and it wasn't clearing in time so I bit the bullet. IF you do it properly you do not add a bunch of Oxygen and it will get the beer very clear, but it's a PITA. From what I hear from a bunch of folks gelatin will get you there with a LOT less hassle and expense. If you bottle condition you will always have sediment. If you don't want any at all then you need to filter out the yeast and force carbonate, then use a counter pressure bottle filler. Now that is a huge PITA and a lot of $$$. A cheaper, easier way is to just use gelatin and keg.
