Would it be acceptable to post a beer for Pappy thread in the trading forum? A friend of mine has a big birthday coming up and I'd love to get him a bottle or two Pappy for it. edit: NM, reread the rules. Missed it the first time.
I found someone who had easier access to Pappy than I did and ended up giving up a bottle or two of Surly Darkness, an older vintage Black Tuesday and one or two annual big Bruery beers for a bottle of 15 year. Ah, good stuff. But truthfully, Pappy is something you seriously need to and only can trade (where it's allowed to trade) during the season of release. Otherwise you're facing some major hurdles. So best to wait till November for it.
15 is delicious. I am still milking what's left of my 20 year old and we already drank the 23 year old. It is all delicious stuff. Luckily PA gets a little bit and you can order on their website!
