    Is the fridge plugged in?
Are you sure the fridge is plugged in?
Is there a wall switch for the fridge circuit?
Did you check the house circuit breaker panel?
Plan "B" Ice chest for beer until a used fridge from the classifieds in your newspaper can be found.

Answer for the wife... They followed me home, can I keep them?

If the beer from your beer fridge will fit into the house fridge then your real problem is not enough beer. If the number of beers in my beer fridge falls below 60 or so I immediately go to the store. I like to enter a weekend with ~ 100 beers +/- in the fridge

I haven't counted but I'm probably around 50 or 60. I'm one of those with a beer buying not drinking problem.

Fridge is fine after all. I'm having issues with the GFCI.

I have 2 questions about this picture: 1- What the hell is that Pink Death doing there? It can infect the others! 2- whay are there empty spaces in the bottom and in the doorway? I thought you were a Beer Advocate Mister? A reall BA leaves no empty space in the DBF, it's inefficient!

I had the same problem a couple of years ago, beer fridge in the garage kept dying...unplug, pull away from the wall and clean the coils, plug back in, been good since

It is possible for a fridge to get into such poor running condition that it will trip a sound GFCI. I've only seen this once, but it is a possibility.

Hopefully it's just the GFCI- that's a cheap and easy fix.

What's going to happen is that the wife gets a new fridge and the old one goes to the garage

I would replace that GFCI with a regular receptacle and move the GFCI down stream to protect the rest of the garage. Its not hard to do but does require a little electrical knowledge. They serve a useful purpose but can be a headache! Glad you found it as quick as you did.
