One of these days I'll be living in the cities again and partake in this awesome event... last time I made it was in 2009, and I passed on a bottle of '09 Darkness.

Look at how far I've come.

Around 2-3pm for the tasting to start, possibly earlier for the stuff I know we have plenty of....

So I shouldn't wait until 5 to come? I have to be at the airport at 4:30 to pick someone up. I am guessing I should stop in before that. Thanks Ed!

Looks like next year will require camping out. Ed posted on FB, first person in line... 4:05AM!!! I thought getting there around six last year was crazy!

Decided not to go early this morning, but I'm thinking this afternoon. Is it necessary to start lining up before 2?

If this morning is any indication, you should show up no later than 10am to be the first one in line. That is as long as people didn't just get right back in line after the AM session!

Sounds like other stores are going to have to counter program next year. That's what I'd do.

Glad I brought my wife with, she noticed a 2010 Darkness on a wine shelf and snagged it. It was the free Cannolis that convinced her to come so big thanks for to Ed for those.

I am sorry she left with nothing, What was she looking for?, depending on if we have some for the evening session, I can set one aside for her, I thouhgt I had mentioned to everyone, if they didn't find something they were looking for, to come find me and I would help them if I could, no guarantees but I would try.....

Thanks for doing this Ed! Great event and well run this morning. Looking forward to stopping by to try the Lift Bridge and get a Nate Dog on the round about way home this afternoon.

Yes, but I am giving everyone a heads up now, not nearly as much as the AM...I don't have specific quantities or #'s, but be warned if you show up and it is Westy or nothing, you may leave disappointed......

Thanks once again Ed. I think this year's event went a lot smoother then last years now that all the beer was spread throughout the entire store.

    Cheers
