So I'm sure everyone knows that sometimes beer companies giveaway things in their cases, like hats, socks, shirts, all kinds of things. My question is does anyone remember when Coors light gave away those hockey pucks that were used to open twist off beers? I'm just working on a beer opener project and I have one of the pucks, we finished the project and it works great! But we want to build a second one and I can't seem to find anywhere that I could buy one or find one or something. Let me know what you guys think! Cheers!
Do you mean like these? https://www.google.com/webhp?source...1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=hockey+puck+bottle+opener P.S. Welcome to the BA site, Robbie. It's good to have you here.
No it's not, those ones are for a pop off lid, the ones I'm looking for are for twist off, it has some notches in it to grab a hold of the cap
I would say to look at a plain ol' sporting goods store for the puck itself, then look for the insert itself - maybe Rockler Hardware has it - I know they have inserts, officially meant for a wood handle, but hard rubber isn't that much different, no?
