Just bought myself a Brush-up brush thing for cleaning my glasses, but also looking at getting some solution that will help keep them beer clean. Any recommendations in the UK?

Ask at your local pub. They will have the right stuff for their glass washers and may let you have some.

Marquis' advice is good. Personally I just use regular detergent and my glasses seem to be pretty clean....

So could just crack on with some fairy liquid, and then if that doesnt do the trick get some from a pub?

Yeah, I'd say so. I don't have frequent issues with nucleation up the side of my glasses. I do make sure that the glasses are the first thing I clean when washing up (don't do greasy plates first), and I usually rinse just before pouring beer into them.

I have a glass brush, bristles on all sides and I rinse the glass out with water, put a little over a teaspoon of salt in the glass and use the brush to scrub the inside/outside of the glass. I then rinse it with warm water, then cool water, then dry the outside of the glass off and pour the beer. I will also do this between beers. I quit putting beer glasses in the dishwasher.

I usually have issues with bubbles around the edges, only a few of my glasses are good. But wanting to get the rest back to their old days.

I have recently stopped washing them in the dishwasher, plan is to do them all the right way from now on.

I just use my regular washing up stuff with plenty of warm water from the tap to make sure all the soap is washed out.
