I usually only travel for business, which means I'm always in a hotel room to myself whether I'm traveling with other coworkers or not. I'm not one to buy a sixer, and go back to the hotel room and drink alone...so I always opt for a local watering hole. Don't need to worry about glassware that way.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not - if yes, you have too much time on your hands, if not, this is hilarious. Either way, it's brilliant!

I bring both large and small Solo cups for beer and wine as I always pack beverages for the both of us for proper re-hydration upon arrival. Seen too many horror stories about the glassware and coffee makers in hotel rooms to consider use.

I've done the plastic room cup, and frankly, it's not the same. I then started going to the bottle shop and buying one. Forgetting it each time I go out of town (for work alot), I ended up with an abundance of glasses. Now, I don't leave home without one, or two, for that matter. Plus, if I'm somewhere new, I usually check out a local brewery and buy a snifter or shaker pint.

I bring a cheaper/easier to replace, snifter with me, and count on the condo or hotel having something more universal. Condos usually have some weirdly cool glasses

I bring these everywhere with me. They are great for traveling and you can fit a Koozie around it if you want. Got a 4 pack on Amazon

I just buy one; it's a great excuse to get some extra glassware, and if it happens to break, I'm not too sad.

If traveling by car and it's a at least a week's vacation, I bring a pack of Spiegelau Connoisseur glasses, otherwise I just wing it. Most places have wine glasses which work just fine.

That's what I do. Sometimes I bring a glass I no longer want and leave it behind before going home.

(Beer brought with me from Takayama, got the Salmon jerky in Hakodate/Hokkaido)

I don't drive so I travel by public transportation and carrying a glass in a backpack is a p.i.t.a. so I usually hit the local walmart or department store and buy a cheap glass . Bonus if you can find a thrift store.

I am on vacation. It's ok to not have a tulip or snifter for a few random beers, glassware is not one of my vacation concerns.

If I'm off to a party or bbq, then yeah, I'll take a snifter with me. But for an actual trip/vacation out of state where I already have to take enough luggage + golf clubs - leave the glassware at home.

tumblers or out of the bottle/can. Usually buying beer on a trip is a quick drink for the room or to bring home.
