    3500 cases = 42,000 bottles.

I don't know why it's spread so thin; it's a damn dumb idea. I never even saw Sucaba this year.

Haha recently I had the same dilemma with Parabola. I have an unknown honey whole when it comes to certain special releases especially Firestone Walker. What I did was buy 2 and then went back a few times over the next few weeks and got 3 more bottles. The way I felt was if anyone was actually really looking for this beer they would have found it by 2 weeks after release. The only way that I would have felt like a pos is if I had bought the whole case the 1st time I went and they had it.

Only time I see a problem with it is when you follow the trucks around town and buy them all before anyone even know its there, that is dick-ish.

Last I checked it is a free market so if there are no limits then fair is fair. Even if there are limits, if you buy according to the rules established it is your money. If you are in the right place at the right time, especially if those bottles have been there long enough for others to get a crack at, then grab as many as you'd like. Who cares what you do with them even, it is your money after all.

Parabola and anything FW takes forever to get to NJ,it didn't sit on the shelves, it never made it to the shelves. FW has the worst distributor in NJ and its a crap shoot whenever we get any of their stuff. Sucaba took something like 3 months to get here. I still haven't seen Parabola.

I have traded for 4 bottles of Sucuba in the last month because I loved it that much. Does this make me a hoarder? I don't think so, because I love the beer, can't get it here, and will probably drink them all within 6 months. I would like to get even more. I think too many of us over analyze this stuff. There are plenty of beers to go around and many people will not spend $15-20 to buy this premium stuff. If you love it and can afford it, why not stock up? I feel a little differently on someone who buys an entire case just to trade however.

Parabola still hasn't been released in PA. I will consider it a thrilling surprise if The Internet doesn't turn it into a truck-chasing shitshow. All the well-meaning talk about kindness and community is invariably annihilated by that one prick.

I hardly ever feel bad for buying multiple bottles. I know when i get them I bring some back to Michigan where I'm from and trade with my buddy that stocks up all year for me with Brewery Vivant, Bells, and Founders that I can't get singles of here in PA. Sometimes I wished I still Lived in Grand Rapids. Better beer laws and better selction then here in Johnstown PA
