Beer Hype!

    What beers did you have that lived up to the hype, i tried my first pliny the elder today and i loved it. As for my other super hyped beers that stayed true to the hype they are,
    K.B.S.
    Heady topper
    bcbcs
    flower power
    biscotti break
    Zombie Dust
    What are yours ?

    FBS I was able to get it once with Bolt Cutter and Bastard... Now I crave everything founders but cant get it out here in Lancaster, CA

    Sell it. Sell it now. Rent an apartment on the coast. There's nothing worse than Lancaster, besides maybe Palmdale. (I'm just kidding - I was born and raised in the AV).

    I hope the beer scene is better than when I was 21. I hear there's a couple new breweries in town. I'm probably never going to visit them unless I'm kidnapped and brought their in a blindfold, but I hear they're even pretty good.

    Haha Yah two decent breweries and Park Lane liquor that has a good supply of Craft brews but still make my monthly trips to L.A. and the O.C. to get my real beer fix!

    Allagash Odyssey, might not have been a lot of online hype, but more so between my friends and I. It lived up to everything they said, and was still worth it's hefty pricetag.

    Heady, KBS, Abyss, Enjoy By, everything I've had that Cantillon makes, same with 3F (Drie Fontienen) and Russian River's wild ales.
