Beer in Chicago

    I'm heading to Chicago soon to see the Rolling Stones and thought I'd grab some beer to take home. I'm going to try and go to Goose Island, but is there any other beer I should seek out to take home?

    None. It's a wasteland though you may find some decent stuff at a place called Jewels.

    We have some fermented water that tastes pretty good. Check out pipeworks, half acre, revolution, piece, rock bottom, if you get crazy and hit the burbs there is solemn oath and Three Floyds

    Go to Binny's south loop or Marcey St locations. Both are well stocked with locals. The beer guys there are full of info to help you decide. Hope you're bringing a semi for your upcoming haul.

    There's only about 70 breweries you can't get in SC here, so there might be a few beers you would want to pick up. Local: Pipeworks, Half Acre, Revolution, FFF, Spiteful to name a few. Check seekabrew, beermenus, BA, Facebook, basically do your research and I am sure you will find plenty of great beers here.
