So my girlfriends dad works in memphis every couple of weeks, and I live in baton rouge. He offered to blring me back some beers from there that we wouldn't be able to get over here in BR. Anyone have any advice or suggestions of beers that he'd be able to find relatively easy in tennesee that would be worth him bringing back to louisiana for me?
Yazoo Sue is the only one I can think of off the top of my head that Memphis may get that you can't. I'm not even sure if it makes it out that far. Memphis is a beer wasteland.
Well lets see according to what I know Memphis gets and Seekabrew says you do not , you can get most of the Oskar Blues stuff , I picked up a few cans of Ten Fidy and Deviant Dales a couple weeks ago , Schalfly is there as well Tasmanian IPA should be on the shelf , Lagunitas is supposed to be on the shelf but I'm not sure if it has made it yet and lots of good Victory Brews on the shelf. Memphis may not be the best locations but you can get some good brew there.
Awesome, thanks man! Is ten fidy something that's readily available? Or is he going to have to do some looking around? Cause I doubt he'd be willing to go to too many places for me.
I would bring back a growler or two from Wiseacre. Not sure if they started that yet, but surely they have by now.
As i'm not the one who is going to tennessee, i feel it would be a bit much to ask my girlfriend's dad to go to a brewery and get a growler filled for me. I'm mainly looking for more or less shelf beer that he can find at a decent liquor store for me. Thank you for the thought though
The only two places to really hit up are Joes and Busters for a full line of craft beer in Memphis and the last two times I was in Joes they had Ten Fidy on the shelf and when I went to the bathroom I noticed about 10 cases in the back but that was over a month ago , I would say they have it

well thank you for that information! He is going to memphis this weekend, but hasn't seen joe's or buster's in the past, so i am hoping he is able to find one of those stores this go round. Any other suggestions jimski?
busters will have the most stock. They pretty much got Green Flash's full lineup today as well. Friday Goose Island Lolita will hit the shelves.
