My parents are currently vacationing in the Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores area. Is there anything outstanding that is distributed down there that I should have them bring back for me that I cannot get here in Kansas and Missouri? Or anything over in the Pensacola area?

Lazy Magnolia, based out of Kiln, MS has a couple of interesting beers. I typically get their Southern Pecan. It's a brown ale that is a tad bit sweeter than a New Castle. There is also Bayou Teche Brewery. They produce a pretty good pale ale simply called Biere Pale, and they also produce a fruit beer called Grenade. All of these beers are worth a try, but none are what I would consider incredible. I'm not certain if Bayou Teche is available in Gulf Shores, but I know Lazy Magnolia sells in the area.

Yazoo is newly available down there as well.

Southern Pecan is great stuff. Try to get some Bayou Teche Biere Noir; it's really good. Sweetwater 420 is a great pale ale out of Georgia. The Terrapin brewery makes a lot of great stuff, too. Pensacola also has Cigar City from Tampa. Their Maduro Brown Ale rocks. Lots of good choices down that way. Enjoy.
