    When I get to Pete Brown's posts I imagine him just shouting "IM PETE FUCKING BROWN," in his best Bishop Brennan voice whilst beating chest.

    Due to my maniacal giggling for no good reason The Missus has just suggested that maybe it's time I sought professional help. I told her humour is a highly personal thing. She remains sceptical notwithstanding.

    Yes & no
    the big little brewers like Camden and BD
    do seem to have picked up the nasty removed air of the macros
    but the new breed of up & comings for instance Weird Beard and the Cheshire/Manchester scenes here
    know far more (or portray so)
    about balance, the whole beer experience & even subtlety and are doing great things with cask
    making their bottles bottle conditioned
    and even brewing milds, proper milds even.

    Maybe we can grow beards, get bad, full sleeve tattoos and make cask relevant again, in an ironic way obv.
    ( I already have a Godflesh t-shirt )
    But which area to gentrify? Or we could start up on Chelsea and kick off its slide into an area of urban decay.
