Ill be in palatine later and wasn't sure if binnys was the prefered choice for the locals? Not familiar with distro out here either(or how to look it up) any suggestions would be helpful!

I work in that area. Binnys is still great. however, Foremost Liqours on Golf Rd. has a nice selection as well. they have a lot of beer that they let you buy singles of instead of having to buy 4 or 6 pk like you would at Binnys. you can check out their Facebook page which they do a nice job keeping updated. or is you are willing to drive a few minutes, Capones is another great bottle shop off of 90.

Totally agree with Foremost, just watch the bottle dates, some stuff there can get old. I find the Arlington Heights Binnys does pretty good at rotating through their stock.
