Beer Karma is real!

I agree that "What does it take to land X?" threads can be helpful, but I'm always wary of people chiming in on those just to boost the value of their own "X". Hard to discern someone's motives for posting in a trade value thread.

 

I am fairly new to the trading aspect but have been drinking craft for a long time. I recently completed two trades with awesome BA members, They both started with FT:ISO on my part, I got lots of offers but I could wade through those who was trying to squeeze me and those who were looking to be cool and trade good beers. Both trades went way beyond just the beer we started with and included locals as extras. What is funny is I ended up including a few beers that people tried to pull with offers as extras to these guys just because they were cool. If I have beers sitting around that can fill wants with a trade partner they are better going to him and making his day than sitting in my closet like the island of misfit toys.
