Beer Karma stats not updating?

    After adding numerous beers/pics/etc, seems that the numbers aren't being reflected in the profile right now in the last week or so. Are there site updates in process? They were usually refreshed daily in the mornings from what I have seen in the last few months.

    My Karma hasn't been moving for a couple days, but I thought the actual stats have been. I'd swear my total ratings number has been moving over my New Beer Sunday and Monday additions.

    But I'm not sure. Beer Karma being the mysterious force that updates when it feels like it, I've not paid much attention. I will tonight after the late shift when I review a couple at home.

    Beers and Places Ratings seem to have been updating for me but I'm not positive about the counts for pics/places/beers added (as I don't look at those too often). Beer Karma updates when it updates and I don't sweat it.

    @Todd Did the update script get hung up?

    I'm checking the scripts right now, but so far I'm not finding any errors or recent code changes that might impact the daily or hourly updates.

    I noticed it as well - but its beer karma so who are we mere mortals to question the whims of the beer gods?

    Funny you mentioned this mine stalled out for days and just as I am typing this my karma jumped up lol. Maybe just a timing issue.:stuck_out_tongue:

    Confirmed: There are no issues and Beer Karma updates are occurring as designed. And I forced an update to test this.

    Please note that updates are based your last activity, which is updated hourly by a separate process. If for some reason you miss the update window or the last activity update fails for some reason, the updating of your stats could be delayed.

    My stats has not been updating for more than a week. Well some stats work, like number of places reviewed and number of beers reviewed, but not the rest. For example I have rated 20 places including a few stores but underneath it says.

    Brewers: 10 | Bars/Eateries: 2 | Stores: 0

    Only 12

    Other stats has not been updated either

    I wonder if something is broken?

    Became a supporter today. One perk listed is Karma. It did not change. Not that I care or anything. JK. Maybe.

    I'm currently taking another look at this. Updates to follow...
    The script responsible for this updates hourly based on your last activity, and it's already been reported that there's no issues with it.

    Mine has not updated in at least a week, and I've had a fair amount of activity which normally would have incremented it; new reviews, new beer adds, etc. Not sure if the individual contributing stats are updating.

    Same here. Several beers and a place review this week with no points. Beer stats are updating though. No biggie, beers still taste good.

    Update: We're aware that there's a possible site-wide issue that's impacting specifically beer and place stats. It's currently being investigated, and I'll post an update as soon as we know more.
