What's up fellas. So here's my situation. I moved out of NYC and I have kept my cans (mainly OH) and brought them home with me with goals of doing some sort of project. Beer can collecting became a hobby of mine due to a family member, so what a good way to share a hobby and pay homage to my few years in NYC. I have a good amount of cans, and I want to have a sick project for them. I would estimate a couple hundred cans maybe a bit less or a bit more. I am currently in my final year of a med program (thank the lord) so I do not own a house, and with loans I am def a few years away from thinking about it. So that kind of throws away the idea of a beer table/bar top with labels in it. I really don't know if I'll be building, buying, will the basement be finished etc. I currently have an idea that I'm going to peel the labels off and stick them on poster board, and frame it as a panoramic poster. It's gonna be pretty freaking big. BUT, it can really go anywhere whether it is a man cave or an office depending on my situation in a few years. Does anyone have a way cooler or different idea?? I am not creative at all but with say 150-250 beer labels, I don't know what else to do! Thanks! Cheers!
I don't want to throw a monkey wrench into your idea, but have you removed the label from a can yet to see what you get? I have removed one to experiment with keeping the label in a collection but the one that I tried had graphics that extended over the shoulder and would not flatten out to be able to keep all of it. You may have to trim away some of it to get rid of the shoulder, then I wonder if the rest of it will lie flat enough to work with your plan.
Yes sir I have! The OH labels are great. They're super sticky and lay nice and flat, they don't peel and curl!
