Labeling is an important part of the final product. Something that catches the eye may lead to a sale. I see it all the time here on BA. Sometimes the labeling is good, sometimes not. Post labeling you like or dislike here. I'll start. To me Founders new labels are a giant step back from what they had. Bland even.

I miss when Samuel Adams use to put thought and time into their seasonal variety packs and labels and box art. They all use to be so eye catching. I use to grab atleast one for every season but now we get shit in them and they usually are all the same

Interesting thread. I checked my current stash of about 30 beers to find the labels I like best.

Can you beat a hop cone? Bonus of course it really tells what's inside. Mosaic with its broad flavor spectrum, from citrus-fruit to herbal-dank, well performed too.

This just looks so classic and classy. The print in different styles are spot on.

It's something about these labels making you just want MOAR. Again, of course, content biases in a positive way.

Wow, those Founders labels are bad. I haven't purchased anything from them in a while, but still see bottles at the big stores like Specs or Total Wine. I guess they both have old product cause they are still the original labels.

I will also agree, that Sam Adams labels are a step back as you say.

I haven't come across them lately, only in the WBRYDN threads, but the Dieu du Ciel bottles use to be iconic IMO. The ones I saw on the WBRYDN thread a while ago are bad and unrecognizable.

Just had it today, but I really liked this one.

I think it's a great mix of vibrant and eye catching colors

Here's 3 more designs I like for various reasons. The 1st has a nice retro look about it, the 2nd for the color scheme, and the last for the legendary Stone gargoyle.

As much as I like the beers, I'm not a fan of New Glarus labels for the most part.

new Founders labels are ASS but thats the least of their worries as of late.

The new Brooklyn BCS labels are awful as well.

I also don't like Side Projects labels.

Labels I like : Thirsty Dogs . Kuhnhenn. Lagunitas Willettized. Mendocino Brewing Company . Moylans

It was a little weird a few years back when Plzeňský Prazdroj was putting out retro-labeled cans.

The bottle labels are much better to me. The bottle labels don't translate to cans very well

I ran across this one just this week. It's from Front Street Pub & Eatery, Davenport, IA. Cherry Bomb Blonde. (It's a 'like,' BTW.)

It brought to mind some of the labels from Old Dominion's Pinup Series of a few years back, viz.:

I find it ironic that I am clicking "like" to say that I dislike what the poster is showing.

I don't have a picture to post because I refuse to buy the beer because I hate the labels so much. I'm referring to the Beer Hug series of beers - the stupidest, goofiest labels out there. Whenever I see that stupid bear with the goofy glasses staring back at me in the store I just think FU.

    Here's a picture from the web ..
