This is a teachable moment in your relationship and you should approach it as an opportunity. Beer ages rapidly in high temperatures. Yes, you can still drink the beer but you're going to drink it very, very quickly, probably all in one sitting. Afterward you're going to need some nurturing. And then you're going to have to replace that beer, with more beer of equal or greater value.

BE thankful it wasn't a month.
Not knowing what it went through on its journey to wind up in that hot garage. It'll be "fine." But, the case will definitely have taken a pummeling. Hopefully those crowns are tight, as that will be your worst enemy here.

It is probably fine. Think of all the trade boxes sitting in FedEx trucks parked outside in extreme temperatures all weekend waiting to be delivered.

If it were my wife she somehow would have found out I posted a complaint on the internet, and I would be profusely apologizing not only for complaining about her to strangers on an open forum that she somehow knew about, but also for my poor communication for not telling her in advance to not leave the beer in the garage.

    GL OP!

PS - as everyone has stated, you're fine. Watch out for exploders and drink them sooner than you would have otherwise to be sure.

It sort of implies that she was carrying the box of beer and left it there. Congrats on getting her to carry it.

It's absolutely fine. Heat speeds up the aging process, and not particularly in a good way - there's a reason brewers, from the monks of Belgium to FW and the Bruery in CA - recommend storage temperature for their bottles.

However, the main concern with "ruining" a beer from heat (and much more quickly, light) deals with hops. FW repeats a great experiment with Union Jack where they show very clearly the detrimental effects of room-temperature storage on a hoppy brew - without any light exposure.

But those beers? No, I think they will be absolutely fine. Put them in a good spot for storage (beer fridge, or cellar if you've got one), and enjoy them.
