I am getting married in January. I had the same discussion with my venue. Their usually line up is Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Yuengling. I told them to keep the Coors so we can put something good on draft. I am trying to figure out what I want to put in there though. I am stuck between Prima Pils, SNPA, and Head Hunter. The first 2 are more crowd pleasers and less intense than Head Hunter. Head Hunter is my go-to.

Nice list and a ton of variety. How many people will be at the wedding?

I'm getting married in October and will have beer from both of the breweries I've worked for.

    I'll be doing:
    ChuckAlek - Dowser (Altbier)
    Stone - Smoked Porter
    Stone - Go to IPA

Dowser and Go to will be kegs.

Hosting our wedding reception in less than a month at Wynkoop Brewing Co. in downtown Denver. Their beers aren't amazing by any means, but they've got several decent offerings. It's in a great location -- right downtown across the street from the newly redeveloped Union Station -- and has a pretty cool history -- opened by the current governor in the mid-90s as part of the rivalization of Lower Downtown, aka Lodo. Will have a full bar for those who aren't beer lovers, but there's no BMC for those who drink beer -- I don't think I'd have it any other way. Ultimately, should have 5-6 Wynkoop offerings on tap ranging from light-and-easy to darker.

I was lucky enough to be working in a retail store at the time of my wedding in May, so I had:

Thats awesome, I'd be a fuggin' MESS if I found Boat at a wedding.

I'd also probably make an appearance on the dance floor.

Do you only have a very limited amount of Carton due to there per person can limits or did you work something out with them? Just curious as we signed our contract for our wedding next summer and have to supply all the booze/beer as the venue isn't licensed. Would love to have Carton as one of the beer choices.

NO, no no no, cause then your mother makes you share with all the distant 1/2 cousins twice removed on your mother's uncles wife's side of the family.

sounds like a good line up to me. I got lucky last year and went to Tampa for a wedding. The groom loved beer and had an entire selection of CCB to choose from. Ended up going on a 1130 PM beer hunt to track down a case of each brew that I had tried that night lol.

Victory Brewing Company actually catered my wedding back in 2010. Not only was the food amazing, but I also had Sunrise, Hop Devil, Throwback Lager, and Golden Monkey all on tap. Needless to say, there wasn't any beer left...

I like that they got some nice solid craft beers for your day. Stone, Victory, DFH...all solid. Most should be happy with that selection of craft.
