I just love them. You know, the first one I saw was Breaking Bud and it was pretty funny. Anything else I know is Voodoo Manbearpig (South Park...right..?) And beers from Evil Genius like Shut Up Meg.

Im not really familliar to American subcultures and want to know more about these kinds of beer names. Tell me more!

Tv shows only? I hope they make some beer out of Fargo and Better call Saul.

    Good thread idea.

Since I live outside of the States, the TV programs are the only sources of my American cultures lol. Anything else is fine!

Oskar Blues had a Coffee Stout called Bolivia Newton John, not really with the TV theme, but it is one of my favorite beer names ever

Not a beer, but B.Nektar Meadery has Tuco Style freakout. Haven't tried it, but I'm intrigued.

I think every one of Evil Genius' beer names is an american pop-culture reference. Here's their beer list and some stand outs:

    Han Shot First
    867-5309
    I Love Lamp
This One Time At Band Camp

Personally, I think their beer naming is the only genius they have, but whatever...

Not quite a parody as I'm sure this is sanctioned, but here's Terrapin's The Walking Dead Blood Orange IPA

Evil Twin Justin Blabaer comes to mind for American nuttiness....just waiting for a David Hasselhoff brew....maybe we could dub it drunk and stupid.

Arcadia Brewing was started in Battle Creek, Michigan, which is known as the cereal capital of the world because Kellogg and Post make cereal here along with a contract cereal maker. Consequently, Arcadia named their barleywine, Cereal Killer.

Oh man, this thread is a waste unless you explain the reference instead of just listing names.. mothergoose has the right idea.

Rogue has a beer named after Sig, the captain of the Northwestern, a fishing boat on deadliest catch.
