My sister is taking a trip up to Killington for a couple days, but basically can't go more than about 30 min outside of the area. Is there any chance of her being able to find The Alchemist/Hill Farmstead/Lawson's Finest in Killington? Preferably in a liquor store so she can bring some home.

Visit the Longtrail Brewery, it's close to killington. I've been there. Very good, fresh beers on tap and good food. For hills Farmstead, your best bet would be going straight to the brewery, but i hear the wait time is outrageous. Lawson's does farmers market sales only on certain weekends, you'd have to check their schedule. Also, check Alchemist's website for their distribution schedule. I think they deliver to some shops around the killington area on some days.

No chance. Alchemist doesn't go that far south. HF doesn't distribute (except Grassroots brand). Lawson's only distributes to 3 retail stores (Burlington, Warren, and Montpelier).

There's still lots of other great local beer besides the big three. Long Trail is making some great stuff (check out Limbo) and Lawson/Otter Creek Double Dose collab will be available soon. Also, Foley Brothers is nearby along with OCB, Long Trail, Backacre. Check out the 3 stores that Backacre delivers to in that area, I think it might be a bit south, but you could be driving right by those stores.

Is the double dose going to be a VT distribution only? I'm hoping it makes its way down here to Massachusetts.

Last year, it was distributed out of state (not sure if it included MA or not, but I think so). It's not a huge batch, so it'll be limited. Due to the price point, some of it sat for a while in some retail stores.

Alright, cool. I'll ask her to look around for some other local gems.
