I'm heading down to Charleston with a bunch of friends this weekend for a bachelor party. We're all into craft beer and looking for some cool spots to check out. We are hitting up Westbrook Brewing on the way down from Charlotte today. I'm also planning to check out Charleston Beer Exchange and Closed 4 Business later on today/tonight. Any other suggestion?
For a comprehensive list of options, check out CHSBeer. Coleman Public House and House of Brews are both in Mount Pleasant and worth checking out. C4B will be a good time on a Friday night. Although not a beer bar, the Gin Joint is a cool spot if you're into bourbon, cool cocktails/mixology. The Craftsmen is relatively new, but is in the same general area as the Beer Exchange and Gin Joint. Holy City Brewery is also cool if you want to check another brewery off the list; very different vibe (open air warehouse) than Westbrook, but will probably have a decent crowd on a Friday afternoon/evening.
