Beer observation

    Consider motivation. Many parents will shop to please their holiday guests, but when potential grandchildren (or already existing grandchildren) are in the offing, it should be plain to see that parents will go way beyond their own comfort level to do anything which increases the chances of more future visits, especially at holidays. This has been my direct experience, and it usually has nothing to do with beer, but now great beer is just another in the list of things that lure, and eventually make the holidays great and memorable.

    I bribe my son with good beer to get visits from my grand daughter. There is nothing better than being a grandparent.

    When I come home from school, my parents always have some of my favorite beers fresh in the referigator for me. Pretty nice of them, don't even ask them to most of the time.
