I will be going to an Orioles game and want to know what beer I will find there and what sections these beers are in. I will be sitting on the third base line but have no problem walking around. Never been the stadium before so I will be checking things out. Any food recommends? Thanks in advance,

    Enjoy

They have a few Heavy Seas offerings at various stands, but get there early, walk around until you find one you like.

Flying Dog has a stand on the lower level behind the first base side. It's worth checking out. Not sure when you're going, but they tap a firkin' for every Friday night game. Usually something worth trying. Other than that, I believe there are 3 micro-brew stands usually with Heavy Seas/Flying Dog/Dominion. Might be one on the third base side. Your best option for something close could be the "Natty Boh Lounge" which will have the typical draft options but usually about 30 or so bottle options. Prices vary but are usually about what you'd expect to be paying at the ballpark.

Then there's Dempsey's Brew Pub... not a fan, but I've heard their beers are getting better and it's still very new. It's on Eutaw in the warehouse if you're interested. While you're out there, grab a bite from Boog's BBQ and head up to the new centerfield bar. Great view points of the ballpark, and it's getting increasingly popular, so you might want to do that a bit early.

Enjoy the best park in all of baseball and go O's!

I know there are several craft stands around the main concourse. There's one on the first base side and one in right field, as well as the aforementioned new rooftop beer deck in center field. You'll find Heavy Seas, Fordham, Flying Dog, Evolution, and Dominion IIRC.

I only had the IPA at Dempseys but it was like $3.80 and well worth it for that price. That being said it was not a game day they were open for the lunch/tour crowd.

So why the hell is none of this at the Ravens stadium? Sounds like Camden has got their shite together better than the throwball team.

:-) Everyone I know who goes to Ravens games tailgates at least several hours before the game. By the time they enter the stadium, they're already pretty toasted, and so probably wouldn't know a loose cannon from a Bud Select 55. I think the stadium selection reflects that level of awareness.

It's the same thing with all football stadiums. AB has the NFL by the short hairs. Haven't you noticed how much football-related advertising they do?

Eh, not my style of football. Or beer.
