beer photos

    I had a friend show me once how to manipulate a photo to me BA's requirements for pix of beers. I forgot how. For the life of me, i can't get one of several common photo editing programs to meet the requirements here. Any advice please?

    Thanks, but how do I set resolution there? and is there a way to ensure max file size of 20 kb?

    Hmm, that I am not sure of. I don't recall what the size of your pic needs to be, I think it can be anything. When I 1st read your post, I thought you were talking about your avatar pic, now I see its for posting pics of beer. Try linking your pics from the likes of flickr etc etc

    thanks, but i'm trying to post my own pix. I was traveling in europe years ago and a Romanian friend made it look so easy. Of course, I've managed to make it so difficult. It does seem odd though that it should be so unintuitive.

    When saving, there's usually a way to reduce the compression. When changing the dimensions, make sure you don't preserve the aspect ratio or it'll be all distorted. I can do it for you if you want also.

    If you have a facebook page, you can upload them to facebook (you can also set it so only you see them on fb if you want). Then download the pic back from fb, and it will be under 20kb.
