Max’s is likely going to be the best place for taps I went to The Wine Source for stuff to go and they seem to be the best in the area based on recommendations I received...good stuff at growler bar as well...it’s in Hamden, not too far from Union Craft Diamondback looks like. It may be worth checking out
Best beer bars: Maxs, wile y gunthers, mahaffeys, hudson street stackhouse Stores: wine source Breweries: Diamondbacks, brewers art, Pratt street alelhouse
Exactly this. The only thing I would add, is that the alewife changed ownership several years back, and by all accounts is no longer one of the better beer bars to visit in Baltimore anymore (unfortunately). Also be sure to take a look at the place reviews on Beer Advocate as well, both the pro and con reviews. For instance, personally I wouldn't recommend Of Love and Regret (unless you happen to love Stillwater beer - in which case I would suggest you put it at the top of your list), but there are plenty of folks who think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Anyway, have fun and good luck.
Brass Tap (in the Station North area) also has a pretty good selection. Lighthouse Liquors in Canton also has an amazing selection of stuff plus a ton of local options
It looks like Alewife is closed: https://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/news/2018/06/17/alewife-closes-in-downtown-baltimore.html
