Beer Places in Harlem, NY

    I live in Alabama and I am going visit family in Harlem, NY for Thanksgiving. I am only finding 1 brewery called Harlem Blue with 2 beers and no beer shops. Do you know of any good beer shops in the Harlem, NY?

    You might want to try the Mid-Atlantic thread as NY is unfortunately not part of New England.

    Yeah, Foodtown at 148th and st. nick is great. So is the Key Food at MLK and Morningside. Out of towners frequently seemed surprised by how great the selection is at some NYC grocery stores.

    Some nearby upper west/east spots that are good include Noble Grains in the upper east side (95th and second) and Bway Dive at 101 and Bway. (a bar with a consistently great draft menu and growlers/crowlers/bottles/cans to go). The westside market at 110 and Broadway is also pretty good.

    If you're further up in Harlem, you might go up to Wash Heights and check out Key Food at 187th and Broadway.

    Harlem Blue does not have a brewery in Harlem. They brew out of Cooperstown, NY.
