And I'm not saying DIPA and IIPA aren't interchangeable, I'm saying the "I" in DIPA stands for India not Imperial.

Exit 16 is a DIPA but otherwise it's just what the op is looking for.

I get all citrus from 2XIPA too, and pine and sweet booziness with Unearthly. I'm the opposite, Unearthly is one of my go-to Imperials when it's here and fresh :stuck_out_tongue: Not that I don't love 2X!

Alpine-Duet. It is a masterpiece. It will be very hard for you (and everyone else) to get, but it is worth it. Last beer to really exceed my expectations.

Recently had Brooklyn Blast and it is just what you want. Should be able to get that in NY.

Try Flying Dog "Raging Bitch." It's a Belgian style IPA with a definite grapefruit thing going on.

Peekskill is awesome.seems like now every week or two they are putting out a new great beer. I love Higher Standard, my favorite DIPA that can go toe to to with the big boys.

Sipping on some Brooklyn Blast right now - another nice option to consider.

New England Brewing - Sea Hag
It's very heavy on the grapefruit notes.

New England Brewing - Gandhi Bot
More lemon than grapefruit, a little on the piney side, but not too much.

You can only get it in CT, but if you're in NYC that shouldn't be too hard.

Also, someone mentioned Clown Shoes - Galactica. It's been a while since I had it, but I remember liking it very much.
