Beer related stuff at your work / office, etc?

I recently installed a small (around 3 ft long) wood shelf in my office at work, for the sole purpose of displaying some "doubles / extras" of beer glasses I collect at home....I have a fairly eclectic group of glasses, from the US, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Canada etc in a small space.

It has gotten a few comments from co-workers, who were not aware I am a serious craft beer drinker (and glassware *****! haha), and started some conversations that may not have otherwise happened....

So, what about you, do you have any signs of your beer drinking "hobby" where you work? Are there restrictions about this sort of thing where you work, etc? I work for a small company and my boss seems cool with it....probably not so much at big corporate offices I assume....was thinking about also putting up a few tin tackers as well on my office walls....

How does your workplace look upon this sort of "beer pride"? Just curious.....

None at the office but we're within easy walking distance of what is easily a half dozen places that serve flavorful beer and good food, so an occasional beer lunch or late afternoon "working" beer and chat session is easily arranged. (Typically the mid-day lunches are reserved for days when some sort of social "jump start" or extended "scoping out the problem" discussion is neeeded so a long lunch works well. The late afternoon sessions are typically much more social but often focus on de-briefing or assessing status of projects, etc.) A couple of these places have lots of memorabilia sitting around or on display, including one with a bar originally built many years ago and so bordering on being an antique. Also might enjoy them since they also often serve beer in the glassware appropriate for the style (e.g., chalice, tulip, dimpled mug, etc.).

I have some craft beer coasters (Sierra Nevada, Anderson Valley, Oskar Blues, Stone) that I use for my coffee cup/water bottle

I work from a home office--So yeah, there is plenty of it around here...coasters, glasses, and more. I really was not into this hobby when I worked in a traditional office, but rarely see any beer items when I do pop into my company's headquarters.

I don't have beer stuff on display but I have multiple growlers in one of my cabinets and my a bunch of packing supplies under my desk. I also ship and receive trades here. When I had a large, closed off office I had a ton of beer stuff in there, growlers, bottles, shipping stuff...now I'm in more of an open plan situation and want to keep it more contained.

I work in a corporate environment, although it's pretty casual (open office, no one wears a suit or tie, etc.) so I haven't seen much beer paraphernalia. That said, I do pack my own lunch and I use a Cape Cod Beer growler carrier as my "lunch box"...it fits my tupperware perfectly!

Watch out for that over zealous HR "person". In our modern "piss test" culture, you just may be suspicious! Nah. If you're married, I'll bet your spouse is glad they're gone.

It feels like cheating, but since you asked, this is just outside my office.

I work for an aerospace (AS9100 / ISO certified) company, and my boss's wife is our HR person, and we have random drug / alcohol screening here, so no worries! I am not married, and have over 500 glasses at home; these 15 or so at my office are just extra ones I have.....

My toolbox is covered with brewery stickers. Customers probably don't want me driving their trucks...

I've got a Pacifico mirror thing in my office. I don't drink much Pacifico but it's some pretty scenery.

I work for a small actuarial firm and have had over 100 beer shipments sent to my office. Everyone at the office knows. Other than a dodfish head coaster from 2006 I have no beer related stuff in my office though.

I have roughly 3 cases of bottles lining my desk (empty), I just think they're cool paperweights. Though I also work for a brewery, so I suppose it's allowed.
