    Good evening!

Our Blood Orange Wheatwine is about to be released, statewide. 6 packs should start hitting the shelves, this week!

Anniversary Ale is a high-gravity wheat wine made with blood oranges. Flavors range from the spiciness of green peppercorns to the tang of blood orange zest. Aggressive dry hopping of Simcoe hops amplifies the citrus overtones and spiciness found throughout the beer. Anniversary Ale typifies Short’s Brewing Company by embodying all of the complexities that come along with another year of brewing.

    10% ABV
    63 IBU

So excited for this! Best annual release in the Short's lineup, I'd say.

Had it on cask yesterday. Really enjoyable . Tasted like orange crush, blood oranges really shined through,

I was lucky enough to be sent one bottle of this, from the last time it was released. What a fantastic beer!

HHH, what's the yield this year? Same as last? Looking forward to doing a 3 year vertical.

Always a favorite of mine. One of the easiest drinking 10%-ers out there.

Grabbed a couple six packs today, and after talking to the managers about the allotments they received, I regret not buying a case at the party 2 weeks ago.

That....and also the fact the I pd. $15/6 pack at the party and Holiday has it for $11.99. =/ Figured I would be getting a fair deal AT the source. Oh well. Glad I got my 2 six packs when I did.

    3 Year Vertical - '14 / '13 / '12 (Red / White / Blue)

'12 Best Color, deep orange/red, taste is dominated by the peppercorn, very smooth
'13 Most pale, golden orange, taste is balanced but less peppercorn, a little sweeter.
'14 Burnt orange in color, most citrus forward aroma and taste, peppercorn is in the background.

This was done blind initially, it was pretty easy to pick out the '12 by taste, and the '13 by color due to the bad orange crop that year.

Glad I did it and reinforces that these hold up well but I wouldn't age them just to age them.

My liquor store dude had to hide some for me! Said someone came in & wanted to buy their full stock, people were calling for it, etc. One of my fav beers, but never had to fight for it before! Glad I have a store that automatically saves me stuff! So good this year. Have to request a save in the future I guess if I want more than a sixer.
