Very limited, this year. Get it when you see it.

A wet hopped lager brewed with fresh hops from Empire Hop Farms in Empire, MI. The nose is full of hoppy aromatics of citrus zest and subtle spice. Low malt flavors allow for an array of hoppy attributes ranging from fruity lemon to an earthy grassiness, with an instant bitter impact. A clean lager finish amplifies the overall bitterness which resonates across the palate.
Devil’s Lettuce was the first wet hopped Bellaire pub beer. Wet hopped means the hops were picked fresh just hours before the brew.
    5.7% ABV
    80 IBU

I will be in TC on the 16th. Any chance this will still be around?

Looks like this has already hit GR, not sure if I feel like venturing out with a 3 year old and two month old today but will have to try and get some tomorrow!

Was happy to see this added to the release schedule, been wanting to try it. With it being a wet hopped IPL, is it going to be similar to Mmmkay or Kind Ale or something totally different.

Also saw Ale La Reverand on the available on the list of bottled beer at the pub. Any chance this gets distro'd?

Was at the pub this past Friday... Damn, a week early! Btw, a Hangin' Frank sighting at City Park Grill in Petoskey... They had it on tap!! I guess they just didn't want to get in the ContriversAle line.

Delicious but not on Mmmkay's level.

If anyone is near Bellaire this weekend, do yourself a favor and grab some of the Ale la Reverend that is available to go. It's a fantastic pale ale brewed in celebration of Joe and Leah's wedding.

Really digging Devils Lettuce. Crazy it is a wet hopped lager as the bitterness is way higher than I expected.

Check gas stations that advertise having craft beer. Found some yesterday at a Valero.

I am a Shorts Fanboy for sure, but (for me) the wet hopped offerings over the years including Devils Lettuce have been big disappointments.

Got one bottle at Beer Baron in Livonia. I don't know where everyone is able to grab sixers of this stuff, over here it's bottle limits and rationed all the way.

I think a lot of places didn't ration and sold out quickly. I checked four stores on my way home from work that sold out before finding it. All sold as sixers. Really enjoying it. Worth the searching and the 12.99.

Grabbed a sixer today. Really digging this one. Still prefer MMMkay to this though. The best IPL i've had.

I heard from a store owner that Short's made much less of this release than typical specialty releases (I think I recall him saying it was around 600 cases), and so they decided to sell it by the bottle.

I also recall hearing the same being said about Superfluid. I'd love to know more about how case numbers are determined per release. Explains why some releases are harder to find than others.
