Beer Release (Short's Brew): Key Lime Pie

Wow would that be incredible. The most popular bar here is that Rosie O'Grady's... and we all know that's your typical douchebar. Good luck with all of it though. Looking forward to it.

My wife and I just moved to macomb and have no clue where we can go go get a drink!

 

It's dry...

The closest not awful place is Three Blind Mice in Mt. Clemens I'd say, but it's not all that close to my house and there's aaalways a wait on weekends. 30min+.

Some pretty decent places to eat in the area but the bars are just... bad.

 

I won't step foot in 3 blind mice. They're so expensive

 

$18 for a bottle of BCBS isn't your style?

 

You mean the ones he drove to chicago to get? The MLCC is going to get called, too many people know and are upset. Christ, Jason from clubhouse is pissed about him, so it's only a matter of time

 

Well that's a disappointment. Same owners of Bad Brad's, correct? Shame. They've got some pretty good burgers and BBQ.

Still never been to Clubhouse. Betty's only a couple times. Forever a shame to have friends who only drink Bud Light.

 

Perrin Brewing has a beer they sell for $56 a growler. I have yet to have a beer good enough to justify that price. Unless I piss gold flakes after I am done...

 

Found a 6 er of publican porter tonight

 

Where? That's my all time favorite Short's brew. I've picked up a few singles over the last few months.

 

Having had the beer in question, hell no is it worth that price.

 

@HopHeadHerman I'm assuming we won't be seeing Spruce Pilsner this week? Next week maybe?

 

in the back of a shelf at a holland family fair.. even talked them down $2 dollars.. the bottles tastes fresh and still make that nice popping sound when opened. creamy delicousness

I just found this buried in my cellar! (Such a cool label.)

It just has a plain silver bottle cap...

I believe it's from 2010 or 2011, can't remember.

I have always liked The Wizard and wish Short's would bottle it again. @HopHeadHerman , make this happen please! Bourbon Wizard is phenomenal ... and Double Bourbon Wizard is prob my all time fav Short's brew!

I'll prob open this up today and see how she's drinking...

 

If anyone in MI is going to be traveling to Chicago, or to Minneapolis/St Paul and can hook me up with some key lime pie, I'd love to try some. I posted in the trading forum also, but no luck so far..

 

Now that I just quick rated Key Lime Pie, I have now had either a pint or bottle of 64 different Short's beers. Seems like a lot, until I realized there are 204 listed on here. This was my first time trying Key Lime Pie and I thought the lime taste was very subtle. Good beer though.

 

If any one is still interested I do happen to have an extra 6 pack.
