It was already announced end of last year that it's Cup a Joe. What they should do is continue to bottle Cup a Joe AND do a mystery bottled stout.

Cup-A-Joe was added to the end of their "Special Release" calender. But, if you look at their "Seasonal" Calender, you will see the void I am mentioning.

I should just start a new thread and build the anticipation for the next 4 months! Haha!

No plans for the can. Personally, I'm not a big fan of 'em. I enjoy my beer from a nice smooth brown glass vessel. Call me a purist if you will, but something about the metal of a can touching my beer doesn't do it for me. Plus, when I really think about it, I can take a bottle to 99% of the places I can take a can to.

ALTHOUGH- Local's Light from a can would be sweet.
They're usually brewed in November for our Brewski Bash- which you should all consider attending. It's like our Black Party. Always the Saturday after T-giving.

Drinkin one now at the brew pub... AMAZING. Such a well crafted brew and so well priced at only $12 for a growler.

Had black licorice lager at the brewpub two weeks ago, loved it, wish they would have had abnormal genius

Well, I just had my first bottle of Key Lime today. I'll be honest, I don't drink much of this one by any means. It's just not my thing. That being said, this year's version is by far the best I've ever had. The lime is just right, and the graham cracker comes through at the end, wonderfully. For the ones that do enjoy it, I'm glad it's tasting the way it is!

Makes me even that much more excited for Strawberry Shorts. Top 3 Shorts brew for me. Just cracked my last bottle from last year and it was still nearly identical to how it was fresh.

Just popped a bunch of bottles from last year Ale La Reverend, Kind Ale, MMMKay, Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, Bludgeon Yer Eye among others....

Ale La Reverend/Kind Ale- faded a bit in the back end, but both still had great hop aroma on the nose and decent presence upfront.

MMMKay- So dank! Hard to believe, but this beer tasted about the same as it did a year ago.

Pan Galactic- still a bitter beast of an IPA.

Bludgeon Yer Eye- almost acquired this red grape flavor..oxidation? Definitely had changed from it's Black IPA origins...into what, not so sure. Haha!

It's amazing how long some of these beers have held up- must be all the new equipment that we've invested in! Short's Cake is a real wonder, for sure. As far as BYE, I believe the style is India Black Ale, not Black IPA. Just figured I'd throw that out there, in case that point changes the way you view it as it ages...perhaps Black IPA's are stylistically more hoppy?

...and I've been day dreaming about MMMKAY. Gonna drink a billion of those, this year.

You are absolutely right. Still, we all felt it was the one that evolved the most...not necessarily in a bad way, but definitely a unique one.

The MMMKay blew us away. A year old IPL, that smelled and tasted of fresh hops. Unreal. And, yes, I will drink a billion of these as well!

Tell the powers that be that Mr. Garrison should be on the label for MMMKay. Everytime I see this beer that's what I think.

All 12 oz shorts beers that I have done extended aging on have ended up oxidized and drain pours. That includes this one and Mystery stout. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Spruce Pils may be my favorite Short's brew...and it's winter companion Juicy Tree is not far behind.

They can stick around as long as they want!

(Strawberry Short's Cake is more than welcome to stay too)

I've only ever had Spruce with about half a year on it, so it'll be interesting to taste it fresh this year.

This is what happens when you go batshit bananas brewing beer. THERE HASN'T BEEN A NEW SHORT'S BEER IN OVER TWO WEEKS WTF IS HAPPENING?!?!?!
