    Hey folks,

I can now confirm that our distributor has received our batch of Kind Ale for this year. I drank one at the pub the other day--pretty darn tasty.

Expect this in stores next week--perhaps two. Either way, if you really like this beer pick some up when you can because we only bottled about 400 cases.

    Cheers!

Short’s Harvest Ale, a seasonal beer made each fall to celebrate a successful growing season. True to tradition, we commemorate the earth’s agricultural environment by using freshly picked hops to “wet hop” this brew. Straight from the fields on Leelanau Peninsula to our kettle, local hops impart a mellow earthiness to this ale that lead to moderate bitter tones and a subtle sweetness in the finish.

Grabbed a bottle today at the Beverage Co. in Traverse City. Will be opening in just a little bit.

I guess it helps when you're only 30 minutes from the brewery. :open_mouth:

Outstanding wet-hopped ale. This and Founders Harvest were my favorites from last year by far.

As much of a Shorts fan I am, I've never thought this was that good. Hopefully this year is different.

Making a trip into MI this weekend from Chicago to the West Bloomfield area. Any chance this will have hit more stores by then? Have had success with Short's at the Meijer at exit 23 on I-94 in the past...thanks!

im pretty sure most meijers don't get shorts seasonals, best bet is to check liquor/beer shops.

As far as chains go, Busch's in West Bloomfield MIGHT have it, but the yield was so low, it may have gone only to small independents.

Just grabbed a six pack of this and bottle of bloody beer. Blooody beer wasn't for me, but the kind ale sounds good and will be trying it later tonight. Any idea what the ABV of Kind Ale is? Haven't been able to find it anywhere.

This sounds great. Is it available on tap this weekend?
