Beer Release (Short's Brew): MMMKay

    We have a change it schedule, folks. Spruce Pilsner isn't quite ready to be bottled, so we are going to be releasing MMMKay first. Spruce will hopefully be on it's way afterwards.

    As much as I love Spruce, I can't wait for this gem to hit stores. And guess what? This year, we're releasing 5 batches worth, with means approximately 1300 cases of this glorious hoppy lager will be distributed all over Michigan.

    MMMKay is scheduled to be bottled Thursday, which means it most likely will not hit stores until next week.

    Mmmmkay?

    @HopHeadHerman How do you find that it compares to Alien Einstein? That's been my absolute favorite specialty so far this year.

    They're both tasty- I think I might like MMMKay more, though.

    The initial fragrances are of bold citrus fruit; guava, orange, and lemon. As the head settles, the aromas shift to fresh evergreen accents. Indicated by the light body and pale yellow appearance, the focus of the beer is on hops, rather than malt. An array of enjoyable American hop flavors shock the palate ranging from slightly fruity to an intense earthy pine. A bold bitterness dominates the finish, enhanced by the clean unobtrusive nature of its lager origin.

    Last year this came and went quick.. sounds like there's a lot more this year.. only got a sixxer before. . This and pink skirt and pan galactic all in top 5 for last year..

    Not sure if anyone else has seen the updated shorts release schedule, but they have the fall variety pack beers listed. Black Cherry Porter, Alter Spalter, Thirst Mutilator, and ..... Dan's Pink Shirt!
