Beer Release (Short's Brew): Rye Not?

I hope everyone that was at the Michigan Winter Beer Fest enjoyed themselves--I know I did.

A relatively new beer, Rye Not? was first featured on tap at the Bellaire pub on March 31, 2011. Since the first batch, it has been brewed there again and was even taken to last year's Summer Beer Fest, to see what a large scale craft beer audience thought about it. The feedback was great and as we looked ahead to our 2013 specialty bottle release program, Rye Not? quickly found it's place as an early March release, right around the time it was initially created almost 2 years ago.

Rye Not?: A rye dominated IPA with a radiant orange glow and intoxicating aroma. Massive floral hop qualities, amplified by notable rye characteristics, blend together perfectly offering ample citrus and subtle pine fragrances, creating a truly memorable nose. The rye based theme continues as the distinctive flavors of this grain notably stand out as the distinguishable malt characteristics. The focus from rye to an intense bitterness shifts quickly and lingers well into the finish, transitioning into a heavy dryness during prolonged tastes.

I just had a sample of the bottled version and really enjoyed it!

It should be distributed soon--actually heard it was in a few stores already.

I've only had a few samples but remember the rye shining through significantly in the finish.
