    It's back.

    After several years, Woodmaster makes a triumphant return to stores across Michigan! Expect it, by next week!

    Woodmaster is a high gravity, American Brown Ale fermented with Northern Michigan maple syrup and toasted pecans. This dark brown, full bodied ale is rich with sweet malt and syrup flavors. These flavors are complemented by the presence of hop aromas and a faint nuttiness.
    The very first batch of Woodmaster was brewed in Bellaire on March 20, 2007. It was the 289th batch of beer brewed at Shorts, and is one of the original beers from the Short’s Imperial Beer Series (#7 of 13 to be exact).
    9.0% ABV
    87 IBU

    Very excited to have this back again.

    I just don't remember the label being so suggestive. What the hell is he doing to that poor tree anyway? ; )

    He's tapping it to get the sap out for the maple syrup. Sheesh, what the hell did you think he was doing?

    Considering teh 'woodmaster' is Joes father in law, I doubt he would have him presented as a chronic masterbater.

    Never had it, very excited to finally have the chance. Sounds absolutely delicious. Is there a pretty decent quantity hitting shelves?

    Update- this was bottled/packaged Monday and will hit stores this week. Looking forward to having this one, again.

    This is a fantastic beer. I'm not a barrel aged fan personally, but the bb version is amazing. Hope to see it again somewhere close this year

    One of Short's I always seek out and never disappoints...love this beer. My favorite "brown ale" made.
