Aside from price (which is largely the Shelton Bastards' fault), why the disdain for Mikkeller?

    Thanks, everyone!

No exact disdain for Mikkeller per se. In Europe here, they're not as overly expensive as they are in the US. Still, they aren't cheap either, and when I drop the money on Mikkeller beers, they are pretty much a gamble. I've probably thrown half of them down the drain in the past couple years, so I've decided not to buy them anymore.

Thanks for the question, though I'm not 100% sure what you mean. I guess one thing that's changed for me is that I used to try every beer in the shop that fit into a style that I liked. I used to drink by style as well. For example, I'd pick up 10 triples and then mostly drink triples for three weeks. Not any more. Now most of the commercial beers I drink are beers I've traded for, or they are beers from local breweries that I find interesting for some reason or another. I probably review 2 beers a week as opposed to 10 a week when I started. I'm sure homebrewing has had something to do with that.

    Cheers!

Cheers on 2000... I'd like to get there someday. I'm at about 610 now.

I also appreciate you contributions to the Canadian scene....Prost!

For sure. Lots of cool stuff going on back in The Home and Native. I only get back home for a few weeks in the summer every year but hopsolutely and peensteen manage to keep little collection aside for me every year. Really cool of them.

    Cheers!
