    Hey!

So, I'm going to be embarking on a Road Trip of legend: Starting in Boston and going as far as Vegas then back!

Anywho--I'm posting this in the forums of the states I'm passing through. In the case of this forum, I will be hitting up Sedona (from El Paso, TX), Vegas, and Boulder area. I'm in Utah for a day or two to hike, and I'm slightly aware of their strict alcohol laws so not sure what's there. I know Colorado is beer country so and suggestions in the Boulder area would be much appreciated.

I haven't really looked up much; do any of you locals have any suggestions for good breweries to visit/brewpubs to refuel at?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you so much!

What part of Utah will you be in?

@mikey451 I'll be heading from Vegas to Zion, then Bryce, then on the way to Boulder I'll be stopping to see Arches.

There's quite a bit of info in this forum about Boulder stops, best to peruse, you'll get a better idea of food in the area too.
My personal favorite in Boulder is Wild Woods, small brewery with nature based beers. I know MA gets pretty much everything Avery, but the tap room does have beers that can usually only be had there. Avery is also a good spot for food. Just up the road from Avery is Finkel and Garf, another good small brewery.
Many will point to Fate Brewing. I've only been once, their food is good brew pub stuff, I didn't think much of their beers, but others seem to like them.
You'll also be directed to Backcountry Pizza. They usually have a solid tap list. I must warn you, the pizza out here sucks in comparison to what you may be used to in MA. We were born and raised in the Springfield, MA area before moving out here, and we had old Italian family pizza spots that simply can't be matched here. Not to say Backcountry is bad, it's good ... for CO.

You should stop in GJ and the CNM on your way out of Moab. The Ale House has some pretty tasty brew's also.

    Cheers!

If you are going to Sedona I would stop in Flagstaff. Several good breweries and would be on the way: Historic Brewing, Mother Road, Wanderlust. Now Historic Brewing has a location in Sedona as well otherwise not much of beer interest in Sedona.

Las Vegas: depends what you are looking for like bottles to bring home, breweries to visit, bars, are you on strip or off strip, do you have a car (or willingness to get around by other means)?

Utah rules are basically on tap beers must be 4.0% or less. Can serve bottles higher abv though. Anywhere you drink though I believe you must order food unless the establishment has a special license. Most don't especially in a place like Zion. There is one brewery in Zion that has 4.0% and under beers, it's ok.
