Wife and I will be going through Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas next week. We have no idea where we are going so we possible stops / suggestions for Louisville (Interstate 71), Nashville (Interstate 65) and Memphis/Little Rock (Interstate 40). We are looking for breweries, brewpubs and local food along this route. Please help.

Louisville has Against the Grain Brewery/Brewpub right off the highway. They have a unique beer selection, and also cooks some pretty good food.

Nashville has a couple of good breweries, including Yazoo, Jackalope, Blackstone. Depending on when you are going to be driving through Nashville, Yazoo has a tour on Saturdays that I believe costs $7 for drinkers, and included a Yazoo sample glass. As far as places to eat in Nashville, if you are looking for fast and unique, Cori's Dog House makes some great dogs and sausages, and their menu includes hot dogs from 38 states across the country. Craftbrewed Nashville is a great beer store and taproom if you are interested in doing some shopping or grabbing a glass of local craft beer.

I dont know much about the beer scene in Memphis but I do know that you should go to Rendezvous in downtown Memphis for some dry rub ribs; they are fantastic.

    I hope this helps.
    Cheers!

While in Nashville you could check out Yazoo Brewery and Blackstone Brewery/Restaurant.

If in Lexington, check out West Sixth, Country Boy, and just opened Blue Stallion for local breweries. The Beer Trappe for bottle selections.

AtG for sure in Louisville. Get some pizza and good beers from New Albanian just across the rive in Indiana as well. I've always wanted to hit up the Holy Grale there too, just have't made it there yet.
