I grabbed the SA mixed lager 12 pack. My old friend Noble Pils is still banging, Fresh as Helles is a decent easy drinker. The orange blossom actually melds well. Looking forward to the Keller the most out of the remaining and the Rauch and Coffee dark sound worth while as well. Also nice to have a fresh BL from time to time.

Solid deal of you are looking for a nice mix of lager styles.

Lots of Hardywood Gingerbread Stout ($7.99 for a 750ml) still left at the Trader Joe's at Patriot Place. Also grabbed a bottle of the 2017 vintage ale ($5.99 for a 750ml).

Grabbed a 6er of Bent Water’s Sluice Juice NEIPA today @ my local, canned 12/28 (yesterday - hope they aren’t sandbagging here).

Nice juicy cloudy haze bomb, & I’m not really a fanboy of the style. Compares reasonably to Trill IMO. $13.99/6 pack 12 oz.

They came from a new, smaller beer distributor in the state of MA, that's mainly focused on the Shelton Brother portfolio and a few great breweries like Jester King and Crooked Stave to name a few. Outside of Massachusetts Pretty Things was mainly going through the Shelton Brother Distribution Network. We don't know the entire back story of where those Pretty Things cases were stored prior, but they were still tasting great!

I made a beer run yesterday and grabbed a lot of great stuff. Two beers that stood out were Common Roots Coffee Cup and Foreign Objects Wet Gravity.

Coffee Cup is a really nice coffee stout on the sweeter side. Fantastic stuff. Wet Gravity has that NE IPA juice bomb thing going on. Pleasantly surprised by this beer.

This has been a repeat purchase for me over the past few months they've regularly released it. It's definitely serviceable

A friend of mine just shared a bottle of Grimm Sunshine Pop that he grabbed at Porter Square Liquors with me. Holy crap was that delicious!

A dry hopped Berliner Weisse with lactose, vanilla and lemongrass added honestly sounded like something of a train wreck to me, but I'll be damned if I couldn't have drank a gallon of the stuff. It tasted to me more like a very light NE IPA with just the faintest trace of tartness than it did a Berliner Weisse really.

Has Grimm been available here for long? I generally walk right past the bomber section so it's possible I've just never noticed them but I thought they were still an out of state treat sort of beer in these parts.

Grimm bombers have been available in MA for probably 3ish years. No cans though.

Yeah, it's a solid choice and it seems to be available in shops more regularly lately. There is a grainy character to the malt that I don't love but if I'm in the mood for something like Congress Street but don't feel like driving to Trillium it scratches the itch.

I'm sure this is going to be the sort of thing where now I suddenly notice that they are everywhere. Just did some reading in the Mid-Atlantic forum and see that they're in the process of building their own brewery. Hopefully that will mean more cans since I'm not one to buy many $12 bombers no matter how delicious the beer inside is.

It was on tap at BBC Franklin tonight too, if anyone is in the area.

Assume everyone is done acquiring whatever BCBS and Barleywine they want from 2017, but there is a ton of both -- singles or cases -- on the floor at Oakdale Liquors in Tewksbury priced $11 and $15 respectively.

Also Founders Breakfast Stout on the floor and plenty of Melvin options including 2x4 in the cooler.

Still catching up on this thread...

...and also not related to beer shop finds, but Five Horses in Davis Square still has all four Bourbon County taps running according to their website.

    2013 Barleywine, 2015 Regal Rye, 2015/2017 BCBS

Is Lagunitas Willetized anywhere to be found still? I missed the release of this and am still hoping to find it.

According to untappd, it was purchased at Burlington wine and spirits on Jan 1. I would give them a call if you're in that area.

Lagunitas has a beerfinder on their website, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. if you get any nearby results, i'd call first.

I've never seen this beer and have actually asked for it at 2 places, both of which act as if they've never heard of it (one being CBC which is surprising).

Coffee cup was awesome, tried it on a whim never heard or saw it before. I'll be getting more.

Unrelated...Evil Twin lost souls was amazing. Check that out if you see that on the shelf.

Thanks for your help, BAs. I got the last 6-pack of Willetized from Busa. Burlington Wine and Spirits didn't have it, but I got a Snow on the Maple Tree from there so it wasn't a bust.
