Fort Hill El Chapo. Just another NEIPA on the scene, but a damn fine one. Galaxy & Citra, $10 for a 6 pack.

Made my monthly beer run to MA this past weekend. A lot of good beer...

Finback's Fat Mango. A fruit milkshake heavy on the coconut. Really a dessert beer but absolutely delicious.

Grimm Citra Pop. Another great beer in the Pop series from Grimm.

Foreign Objects dropped three more beers, Green Galaxy, Fascination Street, and Willful Delusions of False Perception (a bit much for a beer name). I haven't tried them all but I've been impressed with what I've had from them.

Also nice to see Second Fiddle and Lost Nation Mosaic popping up more often.

So much beer... so little time...

I picked up a 2018 Sucaba at Total Wine in Danvers a couple days ago. $10. They also had Helldorado (I think 2017), and XXI. $10 and $12ish respectively.

Lots of Toppling Goliath popping up today (CBC Belmont/Fenway/Fort Point, Fort Point Market).
Seems to be 4-packs of Pompeii, Golden Nugget, Pseudo Sue, and Dorothy, and 22s of Sosus and Mosaic Golden Nugget.

Total wine Danvers too. PS for $11. Pompeii for $10. GN hidden in the cooler. No price.

Also 6 packs of Hoponius Union tall boys for $7.50. An absolute steal!

I'm assuming the latest prairie drop didn't include Apple Brandy Noir?

I like Proclamation a lot, especially Tendril.

Unfortunately, I see them on tap locally for Maine prices. At Baldie's in Lakeville, Tendril and one of the Derivatives are both $7 for a 10.5oz poor. Fiddlehead IPA is $7 for 16oz. It's a simple decision.

Along those lines i was excited to see Derivative show up at Cask & Flagon in Marshfield. Quickly ordered it, showed up in a 10 oz Tulip for 7+. Was kinda bummed, but it is good they are growing the beer program

I saw Sucaba today, South Shore for $17. I wonder if they priced off the old format. Left it on the shelf with its friends.

Some Vanished Valley arrived at Howes Station Middleton today. Grabbed the DIPA Cease and Desist. Canned over a month ago and the ABV on the label has been obscured by a black mark from a sharpie.

    Seems legit.

I'm gonna say this VV is decent. Thick, hazy, juicy etc etc. No where near $19 a 4pk though. just another pretty nice neipa at a price point that sheer madness. Will never buy again.

Funny you should mention fort hill. I grabbed a 4pk of VV and an $11 6pk of Fort Hill El Chapo. I've had two FH and am in the middle of the VV. The fort hill tastes great. Tastes better than the VV. And so much better value. I'm not saying VV isn't good. It is. It's tasty but a wee bit too boozy. Just can't be having this price point. FH on the other hand are making really solid beers at a wonderful price point. Given the chance to buy, for example a 4pk of VV or at the same price, a 6pk of Chapo and say, a 6 pk of fresh pick, I'm all over FH.

So, VV, good beer. Really good beer. $57 a 12pack mind you. Not having that.

That's a huge markup. Only $14 at the brewery for their stuff.
