Not necessarily a "find" as it's probably in every store right now, but I picked up a 6 pack of Lagunitas Mozango last weekend not expecting much & wound up really liking them. Balanced mosaic hopped IPA, but with a hint of mango. Works very well IMO. Gonna have to get more for this weekend. I still love a good beer I can drink straight from the bottle. Something nostalgic about it.

Plaid Habit just arrived at CBC Newton the other day. There were (at least) several 4-packs left.

This is fantastic, going to have to pick some up stat!

Also, unrelated to Plaid Habit, I'm digging the Sierra Nevada Brut IPA. Kinda what I expected the style to be like. And a really great Sierra Nevada IPA. Goes down real easy.

Got a buddy sending me a nice care package from MA here shortly. Do you guys get Tipo? Anyone seen any on the shelves around Boston anywhere?

We do get Tipopils. Comes in via B.United. That said, I haven't seen any around in a bit. Per their instagram, the last canning of it was October 10, 2018

I saw at least one can at Porter Square Wine and Spirits last week. You might want to call them.

I'm sure this has been touched on in the past month or so, but the fact that I walked into CBC Braintree and was able to buy Black Maple from Jackie O's is awesome! This beer is the only reason I have a trading account, since moving back from Ohio. Cheers.

I agree. I always do a Jackie O’s trade in the winter for their stouts. It’s nice to just walk into a store and buy them this year.

How about any Helles, Pils, or AU from Mahrs Brau? Any of that around MA these days?

Picked up a four-pack of Notch's Raw Power, which the brewery categorizes as a Small IPA, at Vinnin in Swampscott. For 4.5%, it packs a lot of flavor and a relatively full body for the session IPA - highly recommend if you're looking for a solid pale ale substitue. So far, allall the Single Series beers (The Standard, Black Lager) have been outstanding.

Agree. Reminds me of Bissell’s Diavoletto. Low abv, tons of body and flavor.

My favorite pils. Been a while since I've seen it.

I was excited to see Raw Power on the shelves at One Stop in Haverhill and picked one up after a healthy debate between that and the black lager. That said, I wish I had gone with the black lager. Not that Raw Power was bad, but after two I'd have enough hops. I don't think I'd have had that trouble with the black lager* (but maybe I would've had the same post, switching out words if I went the other way).

*I'm too lazy to search the name, hence why i keep calling it the black lager
