It is an excellent beer. It matches up well with While Helles from Suarez.

I have to second Stormfield's comment that Plymouth rock is a big disappointment. But if you DO end up going and you like older school beers, Mayflower's taproom is definitely worth a stop and only 10 minutes away. They have an absolutely fantastic porter and a great oatmeal stout. Their English IPA is no slouch either and they do make some newer school stuff but I can't vouch for those.

It's a pretty straightforward and low key (but very pleasant) sort of taproom so it's an easy stop without having to worry about lines or crowds.

I have had Mayflower before (the porter and the IPA) and was a big fan of both. Someone I used to work with brought me back a few bottles years ago. Thanks for reminding me they exist.

Nice. If we do Plymouth Rock, I think I’ll stop in. Cheers!

Awesome! I’m not in until 1pm tomorrow if you come in before then ask for Chris, say Nate said to show you the racks inside the cooler!

I’d be coming next Wednesday. We’re on our way to Hyannis for my younger daughter’s dance competition.

I haven’t read through this page, but go to John’s Liquor in falmouth. I spend much of my summer down here, and Mark Jr will definitely take care of you. They update Instagram and Untappd regularly.

they have most fresh selection in the walk in, just ask.

This is actually a lot closer by where we’re staying so if we don’t hit Plymouth I may go here. Their untappd page hasn’t been updated since April but it is very impressive to say the least. Thanks for the tip.

I like Johns, but the store is FULL of old beer. You need to be really careful if you grab IPAs off the shelf.

I like Windfall Market in Falmouth. Not a huge selection, but because of that, its kept fresh and is a really nice selection that turns over.

I don’t know if anyone will be in the Orleans area, but I always enjoy Windmill Liquors. I bought a lot of stuff to drink while in Cape Cod and a bunch to bring home during my vacation a couple weeks ago.

This is true. Honestly Anything on the shelf is probably old. The walk in is the way to go, and ask what’s on the beer list you’re there on the weekend. They update Instagram most weeks with their fresh drops.
    They also sell singles.

If you're in Falmouth Kappys has the best selection. Kenyons Market in E. Falmouth near Bad Martha Brewery has a solid selection. Aquatic brewing in downtown Falmouth is putting out some great beers.

It looks like we already have a reservation for dinner tonight and I’m not sure I want to run out to buy beer once we’re there and then go out to dinner outside of our hotel, so that Yankee Spirits in Attleboro is good? Going to Plymouth is also off the table now, and stopping here might break the drive up a bit. Plus, I don’t want to venture off 95 too far. I went through their website inventory last night and it seems decent, not great.
