I'll be working out of Columbia MD once a week for a little while. Are there any bottle shops worth visiting while I'm up there? Was working in Greenbelt, so got to Old Line and TW in Laurel. Wondering if there is anything up there I could hit on lunch break

This is where i go. It gets shat upon quite abit here by other BAers in regards to their prices, (and to be fair, their prices are a little high), but the selection is quite outstanding!

I'll third the recommendation for the PP if you're going to be working in Columbia, but be sure to read over some of the negative reviews on this site. There is a very good reason why it gets "shit on" by a lot of the local BA's in the Baltimore/DC area. They do have some of the highest prices in the state, but that's only part of the reason why they're so roundly disliked by so many people.

I agree with jimmy666. Cindy's is fairly close to Columbia and they have a good selection and very good prices. Their beer guys there are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Cindy's doesn't quite have as much selection as PP, but I'd buy beer at Cindy's over PP any day of the week, even if it was more expensive. I am not getting into the details. Echoing johnmichaelsen, there is a world class selection at Perfect Pour, but it isn't just the high prices that keep people away.

Can't beat Perfect Pour in terms of their selection, but the prices are a bit of a gut punch.

I went to Perfect Pour last week and got a bottle of FV13 for $14.97. Went back yesterday and they had another bottle out priced at $29.77. Good stuff. They are great for annual/seasonal release stuff but for anything limited, you should look anywhere else.
