It sucks, but if you try hard enough, you might become one of those "close friends"

So by you assuming that a store even gets a particular beer based on how much you think they sell, and then them not having it waiting for you when you happen to stop by, how exactly are they the a-holes, and not you who expects a beer you think maybe there based on pure presumption?

I actually like this semi-negative topic, despite the fact that at certain points during this thread we got a bit off topic.

Stores have their policies, and those policies are the policy and we have to live with it. I'm fine with that. If you get something limited in and you save it for your best customer's, then good for you. As customer's, maybe we should all try becoming the "best" at our local establishments. Then we can claim some of these perks for ourselves.

But, what gets me bent is when I go into a bottle shop and have to deal with some "Mumford & Son's - style" hippie douche, that carries an attitude like he knows more about craft beer then the rest of us because he wastes his existence working at a bottle shop for $10/hr. Great examples of this include (but I have no doubt aren't limited to):

    - Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, MI
    - Whole Food in Houston, TX on the corner of Post Oak & San Felipe

Both establishments I've boycotted because the folks there consistently suck that bad. This tells me it must be a management issue.

Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that it's probably really annoying in the month of March getting asked by every other customer when KBS will arrive. But customer service is customer service ya knob & I'm sorry I forgot my knit beanie and lumberjack beard when I walked out the door this morning. If you don't like dealing with people then find another line of work.
