leaving town tomorrow but want to find some good beer before I leave. What is a great store for excellent beer in Knoxville? Heard bearded iris is great tn beer. Any other suggestions for this Georgia resident? IPAs and imperial bourbon barrel aged stouts are my favorites.
I'm not from there, so locals please chime in, but McScrooge's is the place to go. The couple times I've been, they have had Bearded Iris for growler fills, but I hear they get cans from time to time. Pretty sure Casual Pint locations get cans regularly as well.
Thanks Chaser. I tried Bearden Beer Marjet and Casual Pint. Didn’t find anything I wanted. J &R Liquors in Chattanooga was good though. Bearded Iris, Bells, Oskar Blues, Southern Prohibition Brewing got me loaded up. Will have to visit some breweries next time in Knoxville.
