Anyone have info on The Beer Store going into the Lincoln Court shopping center in Frazer/Malvern?
Sign says they are going to have the largest selection of craft/micro breweries in Chester County.

Thanks, never heard of the place in Bucks. Is this going to be a go to place?

Damn excited to check this place out. Heard great things about the Southampton store but a touch too far for me.

Most likely yes. They tend to be a little pricey, but they are as advertised. Best selection around. The place in Bucks has a bar complete with food and growler fills if that's your thing.

Wow... I'm interested in hearing more news about this too- will definitely be visiting. I haven't been to the Southampton location either, but also heard good things

EDIT: Official Facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/thebeerstorechestercounty

2nd Edit: That page lists opening as "mid-October"

Excited about them opening up in Malvern, but I hate that they raffle off all the limited stuff.

I live in West Chester and work in Wayne. For me, it's either Wegmans or Capone's. I am really looking forward to this. Might be a step up in selection from Wegmans and help bring down the pricing from other bottle shops.

Doubt it will bring down the prices. If anything they might go up after they see prices The Beer Store Malvern is getting for their beers. But looking forward to checking out the insane selection.

Looking forward to this place. I also reccomend Pinocchio's in Media and the Below Deck Bottle Shop in Conshohocken.

    Yes.

Its often the case that a business will open their doors for a few days of trial run before announcing the "Grand Opening" when they expect to see a flood of customers. Its good strategy to give your new staff (in this case everyone) a bit of practice with the stock, registers, possible lines, etc. Helps improve quality of service during the madhouse times. Helps reduce the "shit-storm" aspects of opening day.

I really enjoy their store in Southampton. However, I only frequent when I'm seeking a very specific brew. The mark up on most beers is close to 25%.

Otherwise nice guys and a great shop. Those in Malvern will be pleased.

Looking forward to visiting this location as the other was too far for me. On my one visit to the Southampton store, I did find some beers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Like a bottle of New Holland Night Tripper (highly underrated beer) for a reasonable price.

You sure it's only 25%? They are pricier than Trenton Road Takeout and he (TRT) comes right out and says he marks up 60-65+%.
