TBH, I stopped reading a third of the way through your post. I hope you enjoyed that beer.

 

TRT is/was good when I worked near there because their prices were the best around. But then everything became about getting on their "lists" and their charity auctions for un-registered beer. SMAS, who doesn't drink, bothered me about all the new beers as I shopped. While I appreciate staff engaging customers he would constantly yell out "have you tried this?" as I looked around. I pretty much wanted to just get in and get out of there.

But I primarily buy my stuff in Jersey now since that's where I work and it's cheaper.

 

I'm right there with you. I used to work nearby there and would hate it when SMAS was there. It's one thing to be friendly and say hello, but damn, I just wanted to browse, not to get sales pitched by someone. The whole SMAS act gets really lame, really quick.

Plus that place smells like a urinal. I don't miss going there at all.
